1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences - Mon. April 7
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
Some of the previous projects I have done on wikispaces were the labyrinth project and the youth ledge project.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Based on these projects, research means to find a way to better understand a subject or topic.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
One of my research successes was my labyrinth project because I learned that when you walk the labyrinth you are supposed to go on an emotional journey.I thought that this was a positive experience because the more you look into a subject the more you can learn. 2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I would've chosen a topic with little backround, and I would've researched something that I already knew.
3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. Topic:King Tut
2. Why you chose it:I chose this topic because It seemed like there was a good amount of facts and it seemed interesting
3. What you already know about your topic:He was a very powerful Eqyptian ruler. 4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity - in class (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic.
How does King Tut's rule influence today's world?
In what ways was King Tut's reighn great? Bad?
Was the life of King Tut's people better or worse than that of other Eqyptian rulers? In what Ways?
What did he and his kingdom worship?
What acheivements did he achieve with the help of his people?
How was his kingdom run?
5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
This sheet lead me to think outside of the box on the questions that I would ask. It made me think of broader and more open ended questions than I would usually ask. I found it easy to find the general ideas of what I would like to ask,but hard to word them in the right way. 6 - Search Log (due Thursday, April 10)

2. What problems have I had?Today my problems were not finding enough information about my subject while he lived.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?I have overcome my problems by changing my subject.
